Game: Memory Lane

Memory Lane!

The lovely Rileigh Anne Foutz Hansen encouraged me to do this post. As I left a story on her blog about the time she inadvertently became topless in a swimming pool, I expect good retribution. Here is the game:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

One memory that we have that I was just thinking about today actually is when Sister Rowley was telling us that we should go out with guys if they ask, even if we had no interest in them at all... so we dressed up in the most professional attire that we had and presented the "Why you shouldn't go out with guys that you don't want to" presentation. I was just looking at it today and reading over the opening statement "My. Buckwild Lloyd" and the cons list and pie charts and flow charts. That was a good time!

I remember the time we were hanging out in your room, you were tired, it had been a long day. You were wearing a dress as you so often do, I noticed that your slip was showing and that instead of your average beige, it was bright fuchsia. I commented that it was rather fancy for a girl whose childhood ambitions were to be a pioneer. You mentioned that you dyed it yourself (very pioneer like), and in your exhausted state hoisted the entire dress up to your neck revealing the scandalous lace detailing that I am sure that now only Andrew enjoys.

There was also the time Matt Holt it Cheryl in the head with a peach, but that is a different story.

One of my favorite memories of you is one that you haven't heard before, because you weren't there.

Once upon a time, I was catching tadpoles with Steve Boyle for a ward service project. (good start to a story eh?) We were playing the game 'would you rather'. Well, it turned into a game of who would you rather kiss. I would think of two girls in the ward and good ol Steve would have to chose. I would set up different combinations based on what he said previously.
Combo after combo, whenever your name was in there, he would choose you. hee hee

I guess that conversation just confirmed something I already knew.
You are a hot item.

So what did Vivian say the first time that got her comment censored? Maybe it was just a typo, but I like to think that she tried to reveal your dark, hidden past.

#1 I remember one time we were dancing in Stephanie Davies' apartment and some innocent children happened by the open front door. (Speaking of dark hidden pasts...)
#2 I remember when your truck ran out of gas and for whatever reason, we decided to walk to the gas station instead of go back into Garden Court and find a ride and it ended up taking like 5 hours to walk there and back, but we had so much fun doing it.
#3 I still search for Tom Petty songs on the radio whenever I drive through the valley thanks to you. I've never had quite as good of luck as when I drove down with you, maybe I just had bad presets.
